Becoming a Lamancha goat breeder began in in 2020 with the purchase of one Lamancha doeling. We already had 23 acres with other farm animals and rescues, but the goats are the base product of the farm. Over the years, we've learned a lot and have become breeders of a competitive herd of purebred Lamancha and experimental Lamancha type goats that work in the show ring or for a homestead family. We are slowly adding ADGA performance programs into our management starting with Linear Appraisal this past summer.

At Unique Acres, our mission is to continue to improve the dairy herd without losing our heart in tending to God's creatures of the earth. We do have periodic foster animals in our care, and we try to focus on leaving as much native planting alone as possible to keep our local ecosystems healthy as well. This blends nicely in our homestead farming lifestyle

The name "Unique Acres" represents the various personalities that find our little farmstead as their home, especially as a dairy goat farm. There is nothing boring or bland about any of the animals in our care. They provide ample entertainment and at times some questions as to what is going through some brains.
Cadence SB Sarzparilla, Sazzy, is our youngest sire as a 2024 kid, but we are excited as we watch him grow. We do have a daughter retained and can't wait to see an udder in the future. https://genetics.adga.org/PedigreePrint.aspx?RegNumber=L002380560
